Stranger by Crystal Bats
BIOG: Crystal Bats are Will Vaughan & Will Jones. They named themselves after the evil chiroptera from The Dark Crystal, and were both born in the arse end of nowhere. They like to play ‘The Floating Fat Man’ from Dune, before they go on stage, and include the exact placement of their potted aspidistra, as part of their tech spec. Their video, for ‘Tonight’ - filmed on a budget of fifty pence - was shown, nationwide, as part of the BBC Music Video Festival. Crystal Bats have been shortlisted for 2012's MTV Brand New Unsigned and were first interviewed for the French style blog Style Papers. Their second gig was at Latitude Festival, in 2012. Will Vaughan studied sound under Guy Chambers and Paul Epworth, and he records other bands at Toad Row Studios, where Crystal Bats are based.
