Where poetry meets performance, where intricacy meets energy, where introspection meets entertainment; this is the line that Zoka navigates through his music. Each of the 3 EP's this 22 year old rapper has released in his 2 year career feels like a journey, a cinematic experience, each evolving from the last; the London born rapper seems determined to better himself with every release. However, as the atmosphere of his energetic performances will testify to, he has found a second home in Norwich. In his time here, he has toured the country with a Norwich based poetry collective called Words WIth Friends, performed to riotous applause at a full LCR, and been claimed by BBC Music Introducing Norfolk as one of its most promising talents. As he shifts his energy from academia at the UEA to a full time career in music, one thing is for sure: there is a lot more to come for this gifted young wordsmith.
