Hey! So it's been a year and a half since our first EP 'Thought Crimes' was released and we embarked on the most unique & adventurous tour, on the streets. Since April 2021 we have played over 300 street gigs all over the country. Everything from your local high streets to protests and bringing the after party directly outside the venues of other touring bands. Our after party gigs have gained us attention from members of BMTH, MCR, Skindred, Higher Power, Gallows, Mars Volta and many more of the musicians who have inspired us. Most recently being Frank Iero from My Chemical Romance, who from seeing videos of us outsmarting the police at one of our street gigs then invited us to bring our signature after parties outside every date on their UK Tour. (Possibly the most mental tour we have ever done, and it was in carparks) There have been many instances where the police or security have attempted to shut us down, and videos of these have gone viral on multiple platforms bringing fans in from all over the world. This resulted recently in an endorsement from Marshall Amps & Stringjoy. When we released our 1st EP our social media was at or just under 1k, a year later we are pushing nearly 10k on IG & 16k on Tiktok. And we've been lucky to gain a really close fanbase all over the country. In amongst the 3-5 day a week street gigs we've found the time to record our 2nd EP 'Ctrl Alt Del' at home, completely DIY. 6 tracks of pure chaos, with enough anger and passion to make anyone listening want to factory reset our whole system. The EP will be out on the 5th November with the release show being an After Party gig outside an arena where 2 of our favourite bands are playing, in true Glitchers fashion. Here is a link to the folder of the EP and all the promo bits: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1V2qxi0eE213kMpNMmXWcRLkul4regJ4l?usp=sharing We are about to embark on our first Inside (Venue) tour in Nov/Dec to support the release of the EP. (It's cold outside so thought we better come inside for a bit) We hope you enjoy listening to 'Ctrl Alt Del' as much as we have had creating it! Cheers, Sophie & Jake Glitchers www.glitchersband.co.uk
