A group art exhibition in the Main Gallery of Anteros Arts Foundation curated and conceptualized by the YNA Collective.
The YNA Collective is an organisation that is composed of young people aged 16-25 in Norfolk and surrounding areas, who are practitioners, or are interested in the creative arts. Through weekly meetings and diligent work, the YNA Collective produces projects that aim to give opportunities to
budding individuals in the arts, who may otherwise be disadvantaged without connections in the creative industry. The Collective itself aims to promote young people, and display the innovation of their generation.
Lily Minor says 'I am an illustrator currently studying at Norwich University of the Arts. My work is mainly focused on creating atmosphere, mood and emotion. I love to use colour and texture to create a work that makes you feel something. These three pieces were created as part of a series where I chose to focus on the human experience of change, as we grow and age.'
Anna Benari says 'I am an artist and curator passionate about human expressions—sometimes distorted—and the beauty of nature. My work explores the connection between women, femininity, and nature, viewing the woman’s form as integral to the natural world. This inspires holistic pieces that weave these themes into a cohesive narrative. Dedicated to learning and creative growth, I seek new ways to expand my artistic repertoire. I strive to connect with audiences through exhibitions reflecting my evolving perspective. My curatorial experience includes Babylon Arts and Norwich & Norfolk Festival, co-curating exhibitions, selecting artists, overseeing installations, and ensuring high standards throughout.'
Bowen Hagger-Utting says 'I am a creative and always have been. I primarily sketch but during a rough period with a lot of personal development and change I started painting. I love the music, bikes and my job unfortunately.'
Ellie Butler says 'I am a 21 year old student in my final year attending Norwich University Of The Arts. I consider myself to be an abstract expressionism artist with a deep passion colour and texture within my paintings. My work reflects my fascination with settings and stories I can convey through vibrant hues and dynamic surfaces, allowing me to explore the interplay between abstraction and figuration. I enjoy many different crafts in my free time and I love exploring and expanding my practice.'
Lucy Kerr says 'My work is deeply rooted in exploring dreams, discomfort, and beauty. I am fascinated by how dreams reflect our subconscious desires and fears, often revealing truths that elude us in waking life. Through my art, I aim to capture the surreal quality of dreams, transforming fleeting moments into tangible experiences. Currently developing my practice at Norwich University of Arts and creating my artistic narrative.'
