Born in the magic of late-night chatter, this Bristol five-piece echo reminiscences of 70’s psychedelia through ambient rich arrangements and dynamic sound production. With soundscapes comparable to bands such as Tame Impala and Pink Floyd and grooves that reflect influences from Gorillaz and The XX, Delight A Thief paint every stage they play with vigour and colour. After a successful UK Tour in 2018 and main stage appearances at Bath Festival, Unearthed Festival and many others, Delight A Thief are ready to turn the kaleidoscope to a new disposition; unveiling a new pattern ready for all eyes to see. With debut single Supercool coming to light on the 1st of November 2019, Delight A Thief are readying to release their first EP in February 2020, which will be showcased through an extensive March UK Tour. Paired with an already building momentum for ‘Supercool’, and the track making BBC Radio Bristol’s 'Track of The Week', DAT’s up-and-coming music is set to envelope audiences into an unknown world of experimental psychedelia.
